To be honest, on current form I wouldn't even be picking SC for origin 1, I'm not saying he's playing poorly by any means but my origin centres would be Best and Turbo.Just putting it out there, do we see a future in which Xerri can surpass Badman Best and the Bulldog's could have the 2 starting centre's for the Blues?
His boyfriend would need someone to ask if he’s OKCan't believe so many snowflakes on the kennel were suicidal over losing Avo, give me Xerri any day of the week.

Let's face it, whoever they go with if SC doesn't get picked it's only a good thing for us, might even put a chip on his shoulders over that period to prove them wrong. My picks are Turbo and Tago
he’s been like that every year. Clowns rate him. He's been a bit underwhelming this season.. the club definitely made the right decision not to pay overs
Yeah we've had very low standards... people still even get upset we let Meaney gohe’s been like that every year. Clowns rate him.
Yeh, admins close thread. LolThis isn’t Bulldogs related.
Xerri is a Bulldogs junior who played for moorebank ramsWas disappointed to lose a local junior like Jake. Xerri is a far better player though if we are being serious.
I hope Jake kicks on at the Phins

Why go to the effort to reply that?Cool story
Not really, just matching your quality comment. Why go to the effort to reply that?
don’t feel like you are cool attacking someone on the internet. You little pleb
Averilo isn't a plodder. I think his biggest failing is that he's got a healthy dose of fear.I remember first hearing about Xeri. A few people were comparing him to a young Gasnier. I doubted the talk at the time. But after watching him make first grade at Cronulla. I changed my mind. He had the talent. But more importantly he had the will and put in the effort. If he stays injury free he can be the best centre in the comp.
I’m happy we got rid of plodder Averilo for superstar Xeri.
You’d like to think Wayne can coach that out of him but I think if you’re playing a contact sport and still have a fear of contact at age 23 thats a massive problem.Averilo isn't a plodder. I think his biggest failing is that he's got a healthy dose of fear.
He's a relatively small player in a sport that specialises in finding 100kg (or thereabouts) athletes for most positions. He's got the athleticism and instinct to be incredible. But the moments of hesitation that fear can cause and a proclivity to avoid heavy contact when he can, means it's preventing him from reaching his potential.
He's probably with a coach that can eventually drum the fear out of him in time. I'd have been happy with him as depth this year. But small chance IMO that he'd push into the starting team to begin this year. And I think some of the players coming through might surpass him. Xerri, Kiraz and Chrichton would've kept out of the centres. Tracey and Taaffe are both braver in kick defence and of similar quality in attack to hold him out of the 1. I don't think he was going to jump ahead of the halves or Mahoney either. So unless his immediate future was in reserves, he was going have to migrate into the forwards.
So I'm happier with Xerri over Averilo. But he's not a dud. Just needs to overcome ge fear and play with a bit more commitment, less self preservation.
Which Gasnier? Mark or his immortal uncle? Xerri has more explosive acceleration than MarkI remember first hearing about Xeri. A few people were comparing him to a young Gasnier.
