But who will catch them? News Ltd 100% owns Storm, News Ltd also own 50% of the NRL. That's a conflict of interest right there.

Conflict of interest= Corruption.
Here.

Im sure there,s plenty of conspiring in the NRL, people will do anything for a Premiership badge on their jersey. Its like cat and mouse to try and catch them though.

So true Moe. But when you think of it, Grothe was in shiite form when he resigned, Burt is nearing his 30's, Shackleton wouldn't be on more than 150k, and Cayless is about to retire and wouldn't have been on a big contract.

Add that up..they're still over the cap.

Cayless was, and still is, getting paid in excess of $400k per year.

Poore was paid close to $300k himself...

Their team smells worse than the river that runs through their city.

Who else is cheating the Cap??

Who else do you think is cheating the Cap and why?? For me -

Sharks - LOL no way
Canterbury - Made the mistake and learnt from it so NO!
Canberra - You would think they would need to cheat the cap to get people to live there
Knights - Rorting the Drug cap!

Titans - Have already been in the papers and are under heavy investigation so wouldnt be surprised with there lineup.
St George - Good chance
Parra - No, but looking at ways to cheat it as we speak lol

With the Eels line-up, they're either over the cap or really close to pushing it...

I can personally guarantee you the Roosters are cheating the cap. And the majority of journo's know that.

Fact

X

X factor

Fact
Maybe, but their squad hardly resembles one that is way over the cap.

who 'was' over the cap is also interesting

brisbane in the early 00s had lockyer, tallis, petero and webke along with other very handy QLD Origin and Aus reps. Doubt they were under it.

Yeah but their values probably weren't as rich at the time.

Eels are without a doubt....... not sure what Tahu is on....but
he gave up a huge Waratah contract to come back..... nobody
gives away easy money even if he was sitting on the bench....
last year they were relieved to let Finch go, to ease salary cap
pressure, yet they went out and paid overs for Poore, and got
shafted by Hayne...... Of the players let go, none were on big
contracts.... Lowrie, Kingston, etc etc.... and they would still have
to replace them with minimum wage players.... so not much
savings there.....

So how do they squeeze everybody in???? they cheat....

Souths....... Sam Burgess...the biggest name in the Superleague...
could have gotten a million a season there....yet he ends up here...
mmmm....... he will say he wants to test himself against the best,
I think the truth would be that Rusty is topping up his mothers bank
account in England.... far away from the salary cap auditors.....

I think most clubs would have plenty of borderline deals..... a few
frebbies here and there..... even the Sharks.....

Early 90s, the raiders were done for being 600k over the 1.5 million cap....

That's the same as being 1.6million over todays cap lol
