I still think we have to target George Williams, don’t need a rockstar halfback but just someone with a brain to organise plays so burton can have his running game and big bombs

If we are aiming to be a truly competitive top 4 outfit come 2024, it will not be with any current young halfback at the club ... no matter how good they are.

We HAVE to sign the best halfback we can get our hands on, who is at the top of their game, for a three or four-year deal minimum .... no ifs or buts about it.

Young inexperienced halfbacks and winning comps do not go hand in hand.

We will no doubt loose a couple of these promising players along the way but it's the way it has to be in my opinion.

We should have chased Hastings harder. You need only look at the improvement of the cowboys this year, with the addition of Chad Townsend, who isn't an elite 7, to see the difference an upgrade to a clubs halfback position can do for a team.

Well it doesn’t say any club is out of it but that’s 1.25mil per year.
