Honestly either way I trust Gould and Ciraldo to make the right decision… Gould had openly said most of the money needs to be in the spine and pathways development etc makes it easier to fill around the spine. Then someone pays overs for those players and the next one comes through.
look at Melbourne over the past 15 years and how good their spine has been

Rubbish. Moses is not worthy enough to be in the postcode as Turvey let alone ball park. You're just another sad burner account of Buster.
Steve Mortimer was a good player, he had a bit of zip, but he is not in the same class as Moses.
I’d probably put Mortimer on par with someone like Todd Carney. Good player.
But if you look at Moses, he has speed, the ability to score a 90 m try, footwork, short pass, long pass, flick and a good grubber. He has all the skills, just not yet the silverware that usually accompanies such a player.

If Turvey player today he would get steamrolled, whereas Moses would do the steamrolling. Key difference.

If any player from that era played today they would get steamrolled, it's almost impossible to compare between eras

Absolute rubbish. You're deadset Nasheed incognito as this is word for the word the same shite he posted. Moses is not quick at all and he rarely scores 90m tries. He's shite.
Turvey along with Steve Morris was the fastest player in the comp over 20 and 50 metres and very few players could match Turvey over 100m. Turvey had lightning acceleration, Moses DOES NOT.
Have you ever thought why Turvey is the greatest cover tackler of all time? It's very simple, he could give opposing players especially wingers a head start and still run them down with regular ease. When has Moses ever done that?
Turvey kills Moses over ALL facets of HB - acceleration, speed, footwork, passing, kicking, leadership, vision, creativity and his career record at club AND rep football.
Turvey - 4 Premierships, 1st man to captain NSW to Origin Series win against Qld at their peak.
Moses? He's done jack.
>"Moses would do the steamrolling"
Who has Moses ever steamrolled in the NRL? The answer is NO ONE.
You expose yourself as a fool with your nonsense.
