Remember being on the fringe of the 8 under Des and not being happy about it? How far we have come. It's been a long spiral down since and even under Pay the common comment by commentators or media "they try hard but don't have the roster".
Fast forward 2022 we have a roster imo to be anywhere from 8-12 on the ladder. We are performing like spooners and it looks like we could get it again this year after that game tonight.
Barrett's lost the sheds, it's clear. The recruits for 22 want out, you can tell. Our top 30 is so poor of depth that we can't even drop dufty who is on a 1yr deal anyhow.
Pay got better results out of a side that was far inferior of our current roster. Foran who was our highest paid and most experienced spine member was injured for most of it. Imagine if say Burton had been injured since round 3. We are already at rock bottom and he hasn't missed a game yet.
