Definitely an improvement on this year. Pace and power all over the park complimented by Hoppa’s hands at the back. I would love Averillo fullback but he needs to learn the role or we can throw him at 5/8. He needs a spot somewhere in the team

They have no head coach, but that hasn’t slowed Canterbury’s recruitment with the Raiders gun joining British prop Luke Thompson as the club starts splashing the cash.

The Bulldogs have landed Nick Cotric with the Raiders star agreeing to join Canterbury from next year.

To join British prop Luke Thompson as their second major signing for 2021, Cotric is expected to officially agree to join the Bulldogs on a three year $1.8 million deal later today.

The Raiders back had been weighing up an offer to stay in Canberra, but decided he wanted to test himself at a new club.
