Did it using a 3, 2, 1 system. Best FLB gets three, second best 2 etc.
NSW - 9 (3, 1, 3, 2)
QLD - 8 (1, 3, 1, 3)
NZ - 7 (2, 2, 2, 1)

Brandon Smith is way better than Damien Cook. Proved it last year when he got the Dally M hooker of the year.

I can definitely see that. Just haven’t seen it this year. Cookie has been very good and is a leader.

Because he hasn't really played hooker this year. In the off-season Bellamy told him he'll be playing mainly lock so he got bigger for it. Next year he'll be playing hooker for the Roosters and will be a top 2 hooker again.

Depends what colour jersey they are putting on coz that Qld spine go up a gear in origin but often outplayed at club by every other person on that list.

Manu at FB long term has the potential to be a very scary sight.

NZ have big hearts but seriously run 3rd in all four positions a fair way behind the other two. Tedesco (or Tommy), Munster, DCE and Grant are best in positions. Grant and Munster by some margin.

Munster and Grant top Brown and Smith but Manu and Hughes are better than DCE and Ponga so I'd disagree on those points, NZ right in the mix for 2nd best, Smith would bash Harry(or die trying) :grinning:

While it's huge to have a good spine they will not play to their full potential IF you do NOT have quality props. So you need to include props in those squads to determine who is the best.

That is where the game is won and lost. Always has been and always will be.

Only one I disagree with is I think Dylan Brown is way better than Luai.

Their running games are about on par, but Cook offers much better service, IMO. Brandon Smith has been made to look better than he is by Melbourne's systems, IMHO. Grant, Api, Mahoney, Cook are all better hookers than him. Hunt would be too if he played the position full time.

NSW, for sure. Cleary and Teddy among the best players in the game, Luai definitely better than brown and IMO Cook is better than Smith (but well behind Grant)

Stand alone, you may be right. But next to their HB, Luai compliments Cleary more IMO.
Hard to say since Brown has never played with Cleary lol. Brown defensively is WAY better than Luai. Brown this year has played way better than Luai.
