The main problem with this idea is that I don't think there's a team out there with a decent half that's not being used. Forwards and backs might be possible to get, but quality 9, 7, 6 and 1 are very hard to wrestle away from opposing clubs.

I love this discussion, "the dogs need to buy a half" there's not many good ones and the ones that are good aren't going anywhere and the others all have issues. Even the good ones have issues ffs. There is only one half that would be a 100% guaranteed problem solved solution and that is Cleary.
