Guy seemed like he had a good attitude as a player and was respectful...

He was Alex Johnston before there was an Alex Johnston. Solid reliable try machine. I don't recall any showboating.

He's only 40, so 5 years younger than me, and, although I haven't seen him since retirement, I'm going to assume he's much fitter too.

I met him in his playing days as he used to play in my basketball comp. He was good too.. He's a really nice guy.. I hope he recovers. He was always one of my favourite players to watch. We're all thinking of him and hope he's okay..
