Unfortunately my pessimism in signing him has proven to be right. He's the same ill disciplined, poor defender of a prop he was at the Roosters who does not go close to living up to his Origin status or 500k plus salary.

Today Napa missed 7 tackles. He misses a large amount regularly and if players are being benched for defensive issues, he should be one of the first... And that's not even mentioning his lack of impact with the ball...

Ogden is better than him for a third of the money and now can't even make the 21 man squad! To'omaga could be better but doesn't get given a chance. Signing Napa was and will remain a mistake that wasted valuable cap space.

Agree 100%. The board signed him to try and soften losing Klemmer but the signing was never necessary.

Constantly shoots out of the line and weakens the defence, misses multiple tackles a game, generates minimal momentum, etc.

For sure. And Saifiti is starting for NSW! I think Welch may have come in for him but with Arrow injured, Napa will keep his spot.. Somehow...
