Thoughts??

Much better so far than the shit we saw from him last season.
Yes I'm very pleasantly surprised. The way he was playing only a matter of weeks ago I thought he should never be anywhere near first grade or even ISP ever again. Seems though it may have been an attitude or confidence thing because now he seems like a completely different player, running hard etc.

He still has a mistake in him, but damn he was making linebreaks and was very good in his defence picking his right man when rushing in. He forced an error or 2 in defence last night... something Holland can't do.

Regarding Lewis he needs to be in this 17. Maybe for now let's give him a crack on the bench rotating with JMK and being a general position filler across the park.

Hooker would suit him down to the ground.
hes one of the taller members in our squad. All good hookers are built close to the ground .. quick delivery and darting out of dummy half are best suited to shorter players..

Lewis at lock or utility is the ONLY options at the moment.
Not a centre and well behind Foran and Cogger in the halves. If he wants to be in our 17 it won't be in the halves.
I can't see why he can't start playing lock now in Cup???
His defense is up to it.

People do realise that in today’s game a Lock is a third prop so Lewis will need to add about 30kgs lol

This isn’t 80s or 90s Wayne Pearce or Nik Kosef era

I said it last week, I like the way I runs into holes hard. He'll do well running like that of Foz.

He's got a similar style to Willy Talau. If he can keep bulking up and show some more aggression (Happy so far), maybe he might just be the diamond in the rough we need for the position.

Not all. Cameron Murray is probably the in form lock of the competition and he’s not as big as a prop.
Either way Lewis needs to definitely bulk a lot lol

Yeah but different player, u could line up a big 100kg plus winger that wouldn’t last 5 mins in the forward pack
Just because a bloke is small or big doesn’t mean they suit a certain position

He has been playing really well in reserves .. he played all his Jnr footy in the centre.. he played almost every game at wing last year ..
no massive surprises . would still love an elite centre, but he may be the best option at this stage ..
I thought he played fullback for the Bulls

we could carry him but we would need a beast front rower and a backrower who isnt afraid to get in and do the dirty work and make some good metres... similar to cordner when he's on. but yeah i dont see the lock thing eventuating... At the Storm or Roosters yeah, but not us.

Not saying he'll make a lock or not but was surprised to see he's already the same weight as Cam Murray and he's taller. So he wouldn't have to put that much weight in.

Monty has definitely improved after his stint in the lower grade!! Stronger, fitter, making less mistakes. Working hard on his game, so credit for that.. I don’t think he should be our centre... BUT until we slot a specialist in their, or give Harper a run then it could work. until further notice..!!
