News Mid Air plane crash in the US

And another one today. The private plane of Vince Neil (Motley Crew) veered off the runway and hit another plane leaving one person dead and several injured
WTF is happening?

WTF is happening?

Oddly enough, this is normal. It's just that people are paying more attention to it. Commercial airline accidents are rarer, but private aircraft accidents are common. In 2023 in the US there was over 1,200 non-military aircraft incidents.

Yh I crashed my plane once taking it out of the hangar. Used so many roles of speed tape to put it back together.

Fasten your seat belt, they actually work.
They do, but they won’t stop you dying if many other things don’t go right. Many bodies have been found still strapped into their seats including recently in DC.

How dafuq does a plane land upside down??
Guessing it was wind shear on landing.
Toronto/YYZ had high winds and snow on Monday.
A strong gust has gotten underneath the wings and flipped it - that’s pretty much the only thing I can come up with that explains everyone living - the aircraft was already on the ground before it flipped. Will have to wait for the investigation though to be sure.

Video has surfaced from the GoPro of a private pilot waiting to depart behind DL4819. Looks normal until touchdown but then you see it strike snow which suggests wind shear pushed it off the runway and that’s where the flipping motion and subsequent fire begin. Wind shear can be deadly because you can’t see it - that’s why I said it’s a miracle no-one was killed:

That’s some fkn crazy shit!!

When it landed it rolled over and that’s what caused it to explode. You’ll notice the wings are missing.

It’s a miracle no one died.

Shit I wouldn't be travelling in any sort of transportation with that bloke, he was driving (fairly sure he admitted he was drunk), crashed and killed his friend decades ago.
Thanks for the offer of a lift Vince but I'll walk dude

i think i'll stick with holidaying in warm locations.

That’s some fkn crazy shit!!
Crazy that they allow planes like that to land on snow covered tarmacs.
Of course the solution would be an expensive one but considering what the US blow annually on their military surely they can put it in the budget?

$820 billion on military, compared to our federal budget of $715 billion..
