Why the Storm haven't signed a big-name recruit since 2006 https://www.nrl.com/news/2020/10/24/why-the-storm-havent-signed-a-big-name-recruit-since-2006/
It’s the longevity of Bellamy that sets a tone for the club. The chopping and changing of coach and recruitment is a major problem.Really a no brainer but other clubs are bothered or in a position to invest the same sort of resources into this type of management. A top coach in Bellamy also makes a massive difference.
Absolutely. Not often that an almost entire SOO & Australian spine can hang out in one team for too long.Cheating the cap to keep future immortals or hall of famers together for an extended period helps
Bit like the Broncos during the 90's with how stacked they were with SOO and Australian representatives.Absolutely. Not often that an almost entire SOO & Australian spine can hang out in one team for too long.

There's no doubt they scout and develop better than any other club. But the pint is they don’t buy stars. They develop them.
As opposed to the roosters who buy very well established stars.
Look at storms team today.
Papenhuysen and Addo Carr from Sydney.
Nicho Hynes from central coast.
Munster and Harry Grant from qld.
BSmith and J Hughes nz.
They developed all of them.
I feel like people are underestimating this effort.
