It's interesting or perhaps concerning that we've signed DWZ and Alan to play FB and Meany who is on a fraction of their money is IMHO a better FB than both.

I agree. We are going to look back and wonder why Meaney was let go. I shake my head and wonder why.

Nick has shown enough to prove he gets footy, he is able to read plays, and get involved in plays and create, as he did for Avo's second try last game. What was also noticeable was every time the camera was on him when Merge had the ball he was pointing and yelling, communicating to his teammates to coordinate defense.
