Really happy with this signing

Potentially an upgrade on Ogden, Atoni, Britt etc

This kid looks like a beast and hopefully goes all in and makes an impact

This is a good signing but just remember he's a 20 year old with 12 minutes of reserve grade under his belt who has also lost 2 years of development due to COVID.
We've got to give these promising young kids an apprenticeship in the lower grades and time to develop the playing skills, fitness and mental strength required of a 1st grader before throwing them in.
In saying that, there will be those ones that fly thru the grades and provide impact in 1st grade straight away, I really hope this kid and Alamoti will be of that ilk.

I think it's an important factor in having a successful season is having a couple of kids come through and have breakout seasons

I agree with you and hope that at least one out of Tuifua, Alomoti, Shoupp and BBO have breakout seasons next year

I posted this elsewhere,
With all these high-quality signings there is no excuse for Baz re bad performances.
Next year will answer the question if he is a bad coach or not...
Agreed but youve only gotta look how shit Penrith look apart from burton with 4-5 players out with our 4-5 massive upgrades things will be so different and guaranteed gus will mentor baz which could be the making of him ,like everything in the life the difference between the best and worst are the 1% ers,baz has a clear idea what he wants its the 1% ers gus will fix will be great for him.

Yes well said, I have no doubt he will be mentored well by Gus and Thomo etc

Nice little pass at 1:50 in the highlights package for those skeptical but agreed, majority of his package is tuck the ball under the arm type stuff and make metres. More importantly than a passing game, would be to develop his offload. Nonetheless, our pack is looking scary for next year and all of the sudden we have a bench genuinely providing impact.

I would have Averillo in the centre’s, JMK to the 14 and need to buy a 9. Can’t go another year with JMK..

Averagerillo is to weak to be a centre, needs to get on something.

If he is focused he won't take long to find his rythem, good players adjust quickly. Would be training still and will need time in trials for match fitness.

He isn't too weak. He played his first game in reserve grade there and carved up. Moved to the halves and carved up again. What he needs is confidence and time to develop, unfortunately for him he was dumped into the halfback role because Baz went off his prized recruit within a couple of months. When he got a run in firstgrade at centre he was out only attacking threat, defensively very poor but apparently we don't work on defence in our lower grades :tearsofjoy:
