This is a good signing but just remember he's a 20 year old with 12 minutes of reserve grade under his belt who has also lost 2 years of development due to COVID.
We've got to give these promising young kids an apprenticeship in the lower grades and time to develop the playing skills, fitness and mental strength required of a 1st grader before throwing them in.
In saying that, there will be those ones that fly thru the grades and provide impact in 1st grade straight away, I really hope this kid and Alamoti will be of that ilk.

I think it's an important factor in having a successful season is having a couple of kids come through and have breakout seasons

He isn't too weak. He played his first game in reserve grade there and carved up. Moved to the halves and carved up again. What he needs is confidence and time to develop, unfortunately for him he was dumped into the halfback role because Baz went off his prized recruit within a couple of months. When he got a run in firstgrade at centre he was out only attacking threat, defensively very poor but apparently we don't work on defence in our lower grades
