After the chat with Mason it took at least half an hour into the show before they spoke about anything football related. I enjoyed the show more when they would flick to the entertainment aspect before going to ads. It can be pretty silly these days.

He reiterated that he wasn't chasing more money for himself and that he thought that the young guys should be seeing more of the profits they were responsible for creating. He also had a blast at Rothchild (Or whatever) and said half his mates were apprentice tradesmen and they would invite rothchilds to the pub for a beer and to discuss it. his tradey mates would build a bridge so he could get over it. I did sign in about 6 minutes into it so may have missed some.

It was on of the Chappels that stuck there neck out and gave it too the association in order to get a better deal for the players on all levels to increase the professionalism of the sport with the basis of his arguement...being that it was the players that the people where coming to see..yet all the marketing..etc was being pocketed by the association..and therefore leaving the players to struggle with other jobs to support themselves.. yet they where good enough to play at the top levels??..

I just think there is a similarity...
