Official Marcelo Montoya signed to end of 26

We need players with NRL experience to play reserve grade otherwise we will be fielding a complete team of rookies against seasoned men and for those that pay attention you know how that has played out in Ron Massey.

If it was time for him to come home we are signing him on our terms - it will be good to see him in our jersey, I hate it when our juniors play for other clubs.
 
I doubt Gus would of paid much so I feel it's a good signing. He was good ball runner and reasonable finisher this year. Offers us experience and good depth too.
 
I'll be honest as a die hard bulldogs supporter and member off this forum Gus should have thrown the dice on Averillo. Now a days the game has changed so much we need speed. But anyway Montoya he's a breast both defense and attack is quit promising. He's a good finisher.. Also He's returns with ball running is very good
Good signing. Gus I think stop all the back line signings from now and please!! please!! we all waiting out to see two consistent forwards. We need bigger bodies to charge and lay the flat form moving forward. We need forwards, what's really going on since we have the salary cap space. Not the best signing but also not the worst, we lost Skelton and possibly fox , it’s not a bad pickup, especially when we are trying to bleed the young pups.

100% it was personal but we won in the end. I think they actually might but I don’t see Josh moving to another club they may just run out his contract Souths I don’t think will take him because of his history with latrell and ts won’t either he is getting older so we can probably get the best out of of Josh by keeping him for the remainder of the year he has depth speed and experience enthusiasm don’t care about the cocaine he did. I guarantee you if they tested the whole team would’ve came up positive not just him. They where all staying at the same hotel no doi they were partying but yes a headline. Saying we need to look for people after Josh makes sense!! We can’t have Josh forever!!! we have Wilson and other juniors too bad sivo might go to sl cause to the rhinos with Brad Arthur he would’ve been a great addition .
 
Just putting it out there, Penrith don't have fast wingers. They don't have fast back across the park tbh so this shit about speed is over done.

Montoya is fast enough. I actually.rhought he was really good for the Warriors, like had gone up a level.

I remember him steam rolling Kiraz once lol
 
The way I see it, probably a sign we’re losing JAC or Wilson, so at a minimum, it’s a low cost insurance policy, he’s a great trainer, good culture fit and gives his all in each game. I’d say he’d likely be a backup for us but who knows. Once Nov 1 comes along, I think all the cards will lay bare on the table
