If it wasn't for reed we would literally scrore no points. That being said we arn't protecting him like we sould, he is being forced to make 50+ tackles every week a number of those on the back foot being targeted. I think until we get botn Kiks and RFM back at least we should start the first 20 min with Brown at 9, then move him to lock and bring reed on, a bit like what the panthers did with Api, who is very similar in size etc to Api. Seeing as Brown played 9 in NSW cup this week, maybe that is what CC is thinking. Team for this week cup side should be very interesting.

He’s not an 80min hooker anymore because he’s the only bloke willing to put his body in front of 115kg monsters - our middles are powder puffs coming in second man in. That didn’t happen at Parra, Paulo and RCG lead their defensive lines.

He's worn out from carrying our forwards in defence. He is targeted by big units because of his small stature, and our forwards are doing nothing to help him.

Our contesting of kicks is diabolical, there was a game we weren’t even contesting kicks defensively on 5th tackles - it looked like their sole focus was trying to create legal escorts - but someone forgot to actually contest the ball.
