Who went to the sin bin for that elbow to the head?
Will Tino be cited by the judiciary, or is he protected for SOO?
Answers to all your questions are now available.
Q1: Who went to the sin bin for that elbow to head?
Answer: Nobody went to the sin bin because there was no elbow to the head. Nobody was penalised. I do however note that Mahoney went off for HIA which is somewhat puzzling given there was no elbow to the head. Mahoney likely tripped over on the bad surface and accidentally hit his head on the ground thereby knocking himself out thereby necessitating the HIA.
Q2: Will Tino be cited by the judiciary?
Answer: No. He has not been cited only fined. If he contests fine, the worst he can get is a bigger fine. Suspension is not even in the equation.
Q3: Is Tino protected for SOO?
Answer: Yes. Clearly, yes.
Comment: This is all really f**ked up. It was borderline a send off offence yet no sin bin not even a stinking penalty. If somebody like Waddell did the same thing he would get a 4 week suspension. It's bullsh*t. An explanation for the reasons why can be found in the commendable Kennel thread "NRL Corrupt"
