It takes guts and determination for him to get to this point !
Good luck on the next step of your journey, hopefully a very successful one at that !
Check out this video.

Luke talks about his injury - brachial plexus on his left side. Awful injury.

Inspirational stuff to see how he responded in a positive way to a life changing injury - like you said, guts and determination. Wish him all the best for his coaching career.

This is an example of work hard at the Bulldogs and you will get noticed and rewarded.

Yes well done but he is a young flegg coach. Cirro needs experienced coaches around him not rookies

There’s Jason Taylor, very experienced, and Potter also has plenty of experience. He also has Gould as the sounding board if and when required. It seems to me that Vella completes the team pretty well, especially with the younger guys that he has already been working with for some time.

Potter is nsw cup coach and not part of the coaching team as i am sure you are aware
So what is vella? JT is attacking coach so what is his role?
Very strange decision imo

I’ll be honest I think Vella is a great guy and a warrior, but I’m not sure if he is what the Bulldogs need at this stage.

Since a decent % of the Top 36 NRL contracted players (inc Development Players) will be playing NSW Cup there is no way the NSW Cup Coach isn’t fully involved in the Coaching and selection of the NRL Team. They all train together, spend all preseason together, the only time they are separated is when the teams are playing in different cities.

As for JT, I will be surprised if he isn’t used extensively as a specialist halves coach for NRL, Development and NSW Cup halves, including kicking. The “Attack” and “Defence” Coach terms are very generalised, it’s nothing more than puting a label on people just for the simple sake of labelling. For example, I don’t see the logic in “limiting” JT to attack, whether he is labelled that or not.

The overall first year head coaching success of Fitzgibbon and Webster, for example, surely disproves the theory of Assistant Coach labelling being anywhere near appropriate.

I don't know if it's the angle of the photo taken, but is his right arm 3 times the size of his left?

Well done Luke and all the best
Left arm is partially hidden by his shirt.
