hang on i might have miss read something here.

1..foran pulls out of eels deal makes it null and void
2...does he even have a new deal from manly, or is he a free agent and can negotiate with other clubs

He'll probably go to the Chooks, Warriors or Sharks if he 'walks away'.

And the warriors are possibly going to lose Townsend due to personal reasons.

When manly thought dce was going they probably made Foran a very competitive offer. He's probably sorry for not taking it now.

Could of been foz at the "secret meeting" and why we are letting frank go
This sounds more like it ....
Reynolds is on the outer and has been shopped around. Hodkinson leaving leaves mbye and foran to take the club forward. Sounds good to me, only my opinion though ;)

Foran deal was done before they got busted as serial cap cheats.

Now the spotlight is on them and they're covering their arse.

I like the idea of Mbye/Foran but did we even make him an offer when he was available?

I believe that renders him a free agent now

so true,.

In all honesty, if Foran and DCE wanted to win more Grand Finals, their best chance was to stay together as a halves pairing, but Money changes a players focus, and I guess they're entitled to chase the money also.

I know just wishful thinking. Mbye and foran is a halves combo that would be worthy of getting excited over. You never know we have been close to signing him twice before. And extremely close earlier this year before he signed with parra. Warriors or roosters would also have to be favourites to sign him if he does leave the eels contract...

Lol @ parra. Man that 2009 GF seems like last century.

Joke of a club, exec team couldn't organise a root in a brothel.

Don't get too excited..

The Parramatta Eels are aware of news coverage today relating to the status of five-eighth Kieran Foran's contract with the club.

The Eels have been working with the NRL and Kieran Foran’s management on two clauses within his contract that were previously undisclosed to the Board and senior football management.

The discussions have been productive and it is the club's understanding that issues surrounding these clauses can be resolved.

The club is extremely disappointed that these confidential discussions have been made public.
That said if it does fall apart .. Hodko > Parra ??

Let's see who could maybe afford him.

Broncos - (unlikely) Milford and Hunt
Cowboys - (unlikely JT and Morgan (and Ray Thompson)
Dragons - (highly unlikely) Widdop & Marshall
Storm - (highly unlikely) Cronk and Hampton/Green

Roosters - (maybe) Pearce and Hastings
Rabbitohs - (highly unlikely) Reynolds and Keary/Sutton
Warriors - (maybe) Johnson and ??? (financially unlikely)
Bulldogs - (maybe) Mbye and Reynolds/Hodko/??

Sharks - (unlikely) Bird and Maloney/Barba
Raiders - (highly unlikely) Austin and Sezer
Panthers - (highly unlikely) Wallace and Soward

Titans - (maybe) Elgey and Mortimer / ???
Wests Tigers - (highly unlikely) Moses and Brooks
Knights - (highly unlikely) Roberts and Mullen
Sea Eagles - (highly unlikely) DCE and ??? (financially unlikely)
Eels - Current club and contract in jeopardy

Maloney signs with Cronulla.. RTS signs with NZ..

Foran teams up with his bum chum Pearce in the halves at Easts.

Calling it now.
You might be right, Nick was just spotted in Bondi with a large briefcase handcuffed to his wrist. No more paper bags.

Lol @ Parramatta. What an absolute rabble the club is and it will be a considerable amount of time before they recover. According to news reports, players currently at the club are dealing well with the news of the possible walkout, although let's face it that they would not say anything other than that. Would Sandow be likely to stay at a reduced rate considering the recent blow up with the coach?

It will be VERY interesting to see where he will end up, the main consideration being a club that will be able to find the money to afford him. Titans look to be in a suitable situation in the light of recent player movements, other clubs being linked with him will not have enough cap space on current rosters.Rorters ( although they will try to convince everyone that there is still room under their cap and they can retain all except Maloney & RTS and upgrade existing deals with others) Cronulla and Warriors.

I am still mindful of comments previously made that money is not the clincher for him, but we shall see.

The Eels more plot twists than n soap opera
True mate but all the guys in the soap operas are good looking and appear to have intelligence, although the Parramatta saga has been going on for as long as Days of our lives. Lol.

As dumb as it may sound, I don't think Pearce and Foran would work. They are far too similar in playing styles.

Besides, Roosters are pushing Jackson Hastings (bred from Roosters royalty Kevin Hastings) really hard, and he shows excellent signs.

There's no way they'd push his development back imo.

.....

Titans I reckon would be pushing hard for Foran if released. They have the money, and the lifestyle might suit Foran. Plus he can buy the house off his good mate DCE.
