I hope I can be proven wrong, but last time cook played first grade he played 15mins and was immediately replaced because he was that bad. Has speed but shit decisions from dummy half. Again I hope he is better this time round ....

Last time Cook played NRL we were all playing shite and he was a last minute ring in.

Cooks the fastest at our club (faster than Phillips), and possibly one of the fastest in the NRL (at least off the mark). Used to play as a fullback and is incredibly speedy. Would catch James Roberts in a foot race I reckon.

Watching him run is like hitting a fast forward button :lol:

He was taken of after 5 but not cause of his performance it's cause we lost total control of the game and Des needed to address it. My only concern with Cook is him tackling the big Souths forwards. He's only a little guy.

Cook is one of those players that's brilliant at NSW Cup level but never seems to step up at first grade level.

That said, he's only played 4 games in the first grade and if he just plays a traditional hooker role without trying to kick or go for the solo try like he did a couple of seasons back, then he should be good for the job.
