BBO is 19 years old in his first stint in FG

He’s not going to be the answer next season and together with another young albeit gun Burton I think it’s not going to work (unless we get an experienced and quality 9)

Otherwise we need experience at 7

BBO should be brought along slowly and responsibly from the bench
He was Solid as fuck tonight ill back him for 7 next year him and burton need to be the combo we build the sqaud with

Look, he’s gotta go because his contract is up.
That said, he IS better than Wakeham, Flanagan and even Averillo at this stage in Averillo’s career. It’s a shame, I’d rather him for depth than either Flanagan or Wakeham

He has looked way better at hooker, defensively snd offensively. We should be playing him at 9 or off the bench and looking for someone with experience to partner Burton.

Is Pearce really a better player than Lachy?

If so it's only marginal
Pearce is 100 times better. He runs to the line and knows how to put his players into gaps. Lewis probably has it over him with his long kicking game, but Pearce’s passing game and short kicking game are way better. He also knows how to direct a team around the field, something none of our current halves can do. Pearce may not be in form lately, but there is no doubting that his experience would be so beneficial to our team. Just look back to last season, we looked a way better team when the experienced Foran on the field for us

Yes, or at 14 and bring him on and blood him like we used to do to Thurston back in the day

Burton will be our kicker and ball
Player next year allowing Averillo to run. Dufty is also a great ball player which will again allow Averillo to focus on his running game.
Lewis plays good every 5 games.
How do you expect that to work? If Averillo we also know isn’t a 7? He’s just a waste of space in the halves

He does try but hard but he has absolutely nothing. No running threat, no ball playing threat etc. It's just arsey, scrappy tries and has been for years.
Put him in a better team like next years Bulldogs & see how he goes, we may get a pleasant surprise.

0 line breaks, 1 line break assist and a couple of scrappy tries from kicks. What's the point in retaining him? Seriously?
Back up.. Reserves.. It all depends on who we have in the stable of course. Would be a much better option than Shannigan and Sleepman.

Or how about a better team recruits him? Na, they aren't interested. This obsession with Lewis is crazy.
Well I hope a better team does recruit him because I would love to see how he goes when he plays regularly in the same position around other good players and he gets a chance to settle into a position rather than get picked one week by passed for 2 weeks , get recalled for 2weeks then put of for another week etc. and still manage to give 110% in attack & defense every time he gets called up.

It’s hard to keep up with this thread. Normal posts seem to be getting deleted. Why?

Pearce is much older, will demand double the salary… his best days are prob behind him.

Not worth it
