I'd still start King and Hughes. DSF played plenty of minutes. But Hughes proved last year that he's capable of huge minutes. And if DSF can be the impact on either side of halftime, that'd be something we've been lacking. But at this stage I have Hughes, King and DSF as my first three props picked on what the trials showed (disregarding that king didn't play. He's just the incumbent).
Todd and Hayes are on par for me. Sky is the limit for both. But if Ciraldo wants experience early on I really don't think Amone was that far behind. So these three are in my next picked group.
But Tupouniua has to be in contention somewhere. Plus Curran, Kikau, Preston and I've probably missed a few names. But altogether it's positive signs for our pack. It's going to be interesting to see if having that extra competition from our depth will translate to us giving our halves a far better platform or if it's only minor improvements.
