Put him outside a decent halfback and he will perform. Keating is a useless hack. I can't wait for Benny to tear it up @ Parra.

Putting him outside a decent halfback wont make him improve on the disgusting last tackle options he makes, also wont stop him kicking on the 4th tackle nearly every single fcking time. Good ridance to him.

agree again, it wont stop Roberts kicking into players and losing the ball on the 5th, it wont stop him passing on the 5th when there is nothing on, it wont stop him running the ball when he has a 4 man overlap.
he is not the answer and he was hopeless yesterday along with most of the team

Keating or Roberts poor perfomance have nothing to do with Hodkinson, but come on Barry surely you cant tell that Hodkinson has been playing well? Hodkinson has been as poor or worse, hence why he was hooked.
the 3 of them are not the answer to our problems.
we need a dominate halfback and Hodkinson is not that.
im not comparing him to Thurston, but did watch he took control of the game, he ran the footy, he dominated, Hodkinson doesnt even try to dominate a game.
but thats my opinion Barry and you differ to that, so we have to agree to disagree.
Lets hope he makes a difference when he comes back this Friday night.
i want to see Hodkinson handling the ball at least 2 or 3 times in a set of six, not once or even nil sometimes. He needs to get involved, if he does that and fails then at least he has had a go.
thats my only gripe with Hodkinson is his lack of involvement

i can understand that a good half back can make a difference, and we havent got a good halfback, but there comes a time when he has to stand up and take control himself.
he had that chance yesterday and he didnt deliver. Morris hardly saw the ball and never saw the ball in open space, he killed a 5 man overlap in the second half.
you cant keep making excuses for him, good players deliver the goods regardless of who is around him.
you also seem to forget that thet play left and right yesterday, so Roberts had the opportunity to take control of one side of the ruck and he didnt do that

Nah mate I agree. They're all pretty ordinary at present.
