Some pretty impressive hits, he looked winded on a few of them - then just came straight back and smashed them again.

From the moment he played 1st grade he was good. So tough and rough for a half. Kid has a future for sure.

New Zealand are really going to be hard to beat they finally a have a top halves combination in Foran and Marshall and Hoffman will most likely be selected for them at Fullback sometime this year and he is a top quality player as well then they have Isaac Luke at hooker and very good players like SKD, perrett, pritchard, eastwood, etc.

The international scene is really starting to become competitive. If England can pick up their game(doesn't look likely so far) then the Interntional scene can really become top quality and that will definitely help TV right deals and the game.

Not in the short term but in the 5-10 years I can see them coming back to a level to match Aust. & NZ! They are finally realising they simply cannot buy Australian players to play in the Super League and need to develop juniors! 5 or so club have really started to seriously develop young English players and are giving them a chance!

I think you are right also with the salary cap almost certainly going up next year it will be even harder for SL to buy NRL player so that should further force development of English players which should see an improvement in the medium to long term.
