I don't know what contract he's on but there was an article just recently that mentioned we've been offering NRL train and trial deals on-top of what players already had. I'm sure clubs already do this though.

That doesn't make sense though? If I sign a train and trial deal for the preseason and get offered an NRL contract at the end of it are you saying I can't earn more than 60k? NRL minimum wage is more than that.

If they get upgraded to main squad then they can earn minimum or above.
But train and trial max contracts is $60k

How can you actually earn more than 60k without at least being on a development contract though? Players on train and trial deals aren't going to be earning that sort of coin.

Your opinion yes but it’s definitely wrong. Douhei got man of the match against Jamaica and was killing it for Lebanon against the kiwis before he got sent off.

That's correct Steve, but if they don't progress from an NRL Train & Trial Contract to a full NRL Contract then they can sign a NSWRL Contract and be paid under that ie; the Train & Trial payments are not added to the NSWRL Contract payments, or vice versa.
