Broncos have all the right ingredients to be the new crisis club and replace the Wests Tigers spot.

It is on a knife edge with Madge. If things don’t click straight away he will start screaming the house down. The outside noise will also be a huge factor.

Seriously doubt that, mates or not he's a team player. He loves the Broncos too much to do something like that.

Madge will do what’s right but the outside noise, demand for instant success and the fact he’s not a Qlder may see him end up like Seibold.

Possible he comes in to get the wheels in motion to clean the place up and then another coach comes in to rebuild. If the players couldn’t step up with Kevvie they will hate playing footy under Madge

Kev loved the Broncos but when things started to go wrong, he got the old boys to attack players.
 
TBH, over the past couple of decades, the Gronks have been a failure. They have so much advantages over other clubs with regards to finances, corporate support, juniors, etc, that they should be up there year on year.

Josh Jackson for the now vacant Blues gig? He’s only coached flegg for a year so far, but has the premiership to his name and seems to have the right approach. I wouldn’t think it was enough to get it this year but maybe in 2 or 3.

Cobbo was right huh? Who’d have thunk it? He said on a podcast Kev was a good bloke but not a good coach lol. Think he also said Reynolds was the real coach.

I see him doing maybe one more year or two of flegg before becoming a fg assistant for us or maybe cup coach

It's crazy that Brisbane haven't won a premiership in almost two decades given how strong they were in the 90s and early 2000s. I reckon the introduction of the Storm has sort of disrupted the success of Brisbane with most of the Key Storm players being QLDers and would've ended up probably playing for Brisbane.

In the early 90's they basically had the whole state to themselves. Now they have the Cowboys, Titans, Dolphins & like you said the Storm taking QLD juniors.

If he was getting the old boys to attack players rather than address them himself then he’s more suited to being a commentator than coach
 
Madge will have instant success i feel. Broncs to bounce back to a top 4 finish, i only give him two years though to get a premiership. Hes messaging seems to wear thin pretty quick
 
Would love to be a fly on the wall at the first few pre season hit outs with Madge running the show, fkn hilarious.

Yep. Once the review started the players weren't going to hold back. Not one player has owned it though. Cobbo podcast is the only exception to this.

Yup, that's what got him kicked out of Souths and tigers, too many sprays and constantly making players live in fear of being dropped.

I imagine he's probably worked out from his last stint that this generation is different and won't take his hard nose approach too well.

Walsh has a lot of mistakes in his game, is Madge going to rein him in and how is Walsh going to react to it?
