Constantly neglected depth at Hooker for the better part of a decade. Let go of Woolford, missed out on Robson, Brittain, Simpkin etc, continued to attempt to develop JMK.

It's a specialist position that needs to be developed and depth retained.

Worst player on the field week in week out. Always good for a mistake or penalty that directly leads to a try. Races out of the line to not make tackles and then the other team goes through the hole he made. Throws numerous forward passes a game that don't get picked up. The rest of the passes he throws are behind or above the head of the person he is passing to. **** is absolute shit.

We do have some good young blokes coming through the hooking ranks in Danny Ghantous and Ryan Gray ( he can be really hot and cold but has ability), Bila lYazici but we will have to wait for them to be ready.

Gray has the ability but has dumb, dumb errors in his game, plus he has had quite a few injuries.He played well in the trial against Penrith early this year showing his ability ( spoke to Luke Vella the Flegg coach that day who was happy with his efforts) but since then has been sometimes hit and miss. Hopefully he can find his way to be consistent and that it is a youth thing. He has been talked up big by the Dogs.
We had a discussion amongst ourselves about him at our last home game at ANZ where he played in Flegg and pretty much all agreed that unless he can consistently perform he might just be one of those who won't be able to step up.

Please watch the game again gents and just keep an eye on him. The 1% things he should be doing to be a nrl player is non existent. He stands around at the ruck and sometimes try’s to shirt grab when defending the line. He put one good hit cause the player ran directly at him but the effort is seriously questionable. He doesn’t need to prove anything anymore as he has signed with hull next year so he’ll just keep showing up for a pay cheque till he leaves. Absaloute trash of a player to ever put on our jersey

I remember one pass in the second half where Ogden comes charging onto the ball, then has to stop, jump in the air and do a 360 to catch the ball behind him, land, and then walk into the defensive line. You could even see him sigh as he landed with the ball the poor bastard.

Fix the core positions of FB, Half and Hooker and the team will greatly improve.

We have had no spark out of dummy half for quite some time and I think this is the root cause of all of our problems.

Nobody pushes up through the middle, no creativity around the ruck, forwards aren't trying to get on their belly for quick play the balls because our hooker isnt putting pressure on them, we lose 2-3 seconds in the ruck every time and then resort to one out stuff off our halves.

We desperately need a better hooker otherwise we can bring in as many top forwards or backs as we want, we will still be shit
