Jackson has been set the role of a playmates in the role of Isaah Yeo. This is not his skill set & Barrett should be tweaking his game structure. What worked at Penrith does not work at the Dogs.
What is Jacksons skill set? He needs to get on the bench or Nsw cup. Offers nothing

Who do we have that can play lock like Murray/Yeo/Victor? Anyone we have who is ready to go? No one?

JJ needs to go, but we need someone who has overall better game to replace him, and we don't have the right now. TPJ might be a possibility as a wrecking ball style lock, but at the moment he is providing too much value alternating between prop and edge forward. Until we get a prop or edge forward who can do the work that JJ does and free up TPJ to play lock OR we get a proper ball playing lock, what can we do?

Curious to know solutions based on reality. This thread has been great at pointing out the problem, but no one is providing any realistic solutions. And anyone who says we should offer the leagues club to Yeo should be permabanned.

Need to find young up and coming locks and wrap as many as we can up, so important position, gone a the days of a tackle machine only or another front rower playing there.

Hmm wonder what it looks like if burton took on the jacko role.
Also what should be mentioned is that both jmk and jacko have always had a high work rate in defence ( in previous seasons) this year they have the additional task of igniting our attack and without doubt with the most touches in attack .....let them go back to concentrating on the defence and let the likes of pangai flanno and burton do the attacking

Pathetic to say he is rubbish.
A club legend.
50 tackles a game. How many have you made.?
Following Baretts orders.
No, his performance is pathetic.

When he fucks up or stops momentum or gets in the way with the ball in his hands, of course the dud has to tackle.

I can handle the comments on some players but I reckon a lot of you are being way too harsh on JJ. He isn't the best player in the NRL but he does a lot of shit you only realise is being done when he goes and shit falls apart.

He's well past it but he's one tough fucker though. Nobody else would have gotten up after that head collision. Blood was still running down his melon in the presser.

Game changer when he fuked that play up when we were 6 nil up and all over them. We should/would have scored for sure in that set had he not been given the ball playing task. Wake the fuk up Tbaz!

How many mins later did JMK go for 10 mins, game over!
Barret needs to drop jmk and jackson as soon as next week they both cost us massively today, but they aren't the only ones its the little 1% things that players arent doing that costs us the most its mostly effort when fatigued that i notice the most, alot of lazy players ,like tpj ,jmk, dufty ,vaughan , and lots more just not putting in ,we dont look fit,and that comes back to the coach unfortunately ,bye bye

Two moments that summed up our attack.

1. Jackson receives the ball as a link man, throws the pass forward and at the ground

2. Pangai receives the ball 20m out on the blind side and throws a pass into touch.

TPJ did the right thing. Naden should have been there. They train for these scenarios.
