Flanagan is the only choice

However the assistant roles are also very critical. We need to nail the strength & conditioning coach. I have no idea on who this coach is? But we need to get the best in this area.

We need some bulldog alumni in the assistant ranks.

Some options:

Jim Dymock
Mick Ennis
Noddy
Shifty
Haz
Jimmy Graham
Mick Potter
Shifty, bring ogre & bobcat back into the fold .
Lobby to bring back the mental & physical toughness

Shifty, Ennis and Dymock with Flanno is a good start but I'm wondering if Jmoz would be available to mentor our centres.??

Jim is like anasta, they can't let go of the memory of the glory days but forget about the days where they shat on the club. I'd rather go for Flanagan who will go above and beyond to ensure we win. Even if it's using the peptides again it will be worth it

I'd love Flanno, Graham and Dymock...

Ennis bleeds a rainbow and is a NRL whore lol
I have been thinking, will Potter become the assistant coach permanently ?
Most importantly we need to invest in the best skill coach, someone that would improve individual skills especially the younger players !

Who is Lobster mate? But I'll trust your judgement and agree anyway
I'm No Gus, you can question me without me closing my social media lol

Lobster is Tony Grimaldi, a hard arse ex-player turned trainer who trained under the GOAT Billy Johnstone.

They called him Lobster because he had a big arse and all the meat in a lobster is in its arse lol

Sorry, my age is showing lol

Ahh yes didn't know his nickname was Lobster, we need tough bastards like him I agree..and yes he did have a big arse didn't he :tearsofjoy:
I suppose to some degree Flanno has to sign off on the team am sure he and Gus are or will work closely on getting this right from the start..hence why Harry stays until season end.

I wouldn't mind him as an assistant coach, definitely not head coach, there's only 1 man for that role.
