My understanding, only based on second hand info, is that contracts n junior recruitment decisions from the previous regime are still impacting the clubs ability to keep who they genuinely believe are some of the better juniors coming through. It helps explains some the development contract decisions that have been made and the loss of T Talau and Will Saunders to west tigers.
Wow. Fuck how uncomfortable would it be if you were the poor kid taking up a spot that you know the club want someone else in.

Its only second hand info - but it does make sense - will be interesting to see team lists for the first few rounds of Flegg games - will either debunk or confirm.

Tigers have pinched Keebra Park half Kade Hill from our system. Safe to say McDonnell getting the boot put a quick end to that association and wouldn't surprise if Devontai, Mozer and Karaitiana are all gone by seasons end.

Devontai showed a bit of potential last year - but overall that link hasnt been successful - Brisbane get the better players. I think the North Coast links will be better although any good recruitment team will go anywhere to find quality players and not rely on heresay.

Are the players listed in Flegg going to actually be playing Flegg or ISP?

They must be playing Flegg but are eligible for Canterbury Cup. That list doesn’t include the 5 players on development contracts

I didn’t think Doorey and Averillo were still eligible for Flegg?

Averillo is young as fuck and Doorey wouldn't be much older. Both def still eligible for 20's.
