Really hoping that this turns out to be nothing too major. The update on the NRL websites article seems to be trying to down play it as a major thing.
"Neither Okunbor or Harawira-Naera are under criminal investigation. The females involved are over the age of consent, which is 16 in NSW, and neither they or their families have complained to the club, the NRL or the NSW police."

They got up to something with females that are 17 or over, perhaps with a school context involved, which makes it a lot worse than it otherwise would be, but it doesn't fall under the Crimes Act. They have the chance to state to the club and NRL why they shouldn't receive further disciplinary action. The club speaks of "concluding the process". They both trained with the other players yesterday.
It might be a case where they cop a suspension/fine, then so far as the game and club are concerned the matter is dealt with, notwithstanding the utter stupidity of doing something like this in their position and how it effects the club in terms of sponsors, school clinics, and community good will.
How it effects their personal lives is a whole other matter.
