The damning point with our guys is it was an official club event and take took it out of the realm of individual's rights to NRL club function.

Happened privately... no case.

NRL Bulldogs sanctioned event....all hell to pay :(
Todd Greenberg is a degenerate and hypocrite with no moral compass.

How can one weigh up what has happened in the off season and decide that this (two players having consensual sex with schoolgirls, which one met at a school) be worse than a player (Scott) bashing a police office (bonus points for being a woman).

This incident is in itself TOTALLY INNOCUOUS. If you feel as if this incident was worse than all the other incidents in the nrl off season, then you have a moral compass that contradicts itself (Greenberg).

I urge all Bulldogs Members and Kennel members to stand beside Okunbor and CHN, you may not like what they did (I personally think it will be hilarious in a few years time) but all should support them.

Why? how does some pictures on snapchat and some messages change what is already known?
Because if he asked an underage person for nudes, it's not just a discussion about morality any more. That is an illegal act.

Under the Australian law it is illegal to use your phone or internet to take, keep, look at, send, or ask someone to send sexual images or videos of anyone who is under 18 years of age (or anyone who looks under the age of 18). This law applies even if the photo or video is of yourself or if the person in the photo or video said it was OK. When sexting involves someone under 18 it can be considered child pornography.

Society is becoming more conservative at this time in history.

Many countries run by hard right religious conservatives.

More and more freedoms and free thinking are being would back.

This is just another example of conservative media run primarily by Rupert etc.

Society is changing, and things like this are becoming less and less appropriate. Like it or not, its the way it is.
If you had $2mil to invest in advertising your business, would you seriously do it through this channel considering the media shitstorm??? Fuck no!!!!

While I am happy with the under 18 part, why doesn't the age of consent be 18 as well?

A bit fucking stupid, no?

I tend to agree to some extent tho I don't farm off any direct responsibility from the 2 players.

Where does the buck stop?

The club needs to learn something from this as well. Clearly the players were not sufficiently intimidated by our rules of no women in rooms. How can they feel so brazen as to think they can walk through reception, escort a female to their room and later the female leaves via the corridor and reception. No official around that the player is even remotely worried will discover them? Surprised.

Not trying to expand the blame game here but a whole new re-set of procedures and accompanying fines/dismissal needs to be implemented.

I've suggested elsewhere, we are now in terrible territory and Gus Gould, someone who is universally recognised as a leader, needs to be brought in to thoroughly assess our club going forward.....if only as a positive public relations measure to give us some hope of clearing the club's name and reputation.
I'm a fan of Gould, though he couldn't stop this, just like the scandal he couldn't stop last year with Tyronne May.

I'm quite sure all clubs, spend bucket loads of cash, time, resources and education with these players when it comes to sex education, outside environment behaviour, alcohol, drugs, social media, violence against women, etc

The problem is, no matter the education provided the majority just don't get it. It is as simple as that.

It's a generation of privileged babies and soft cocks

Bulldogs star asked teen for intimate images, Snapchats reveal

The future of Jayden Okunbor looks to be all but over at the Canterbury Bulldogs after a series of Snapchat images emerged of the winger seemingly asking a 16-year-old schoolgirl for intimate photos.

Okunbor and teammate Corey Harawira-Naera have been stood down for bringing schoolgirls back to their hotel rooms ahead of the team's rugby league trial against Canberra last month.

NRL Canterbury Bulldogs rugby league player Jayden Okunbor allegedly communicating with a Port Macquarie schoolgirl via Snapchat.

In one image, Okunbor asks the schoolgirl to "show tits" before sending her a shirtless photo of himself.

The photos were sent to the Herald by a friend and former student of the school that the girl attends. The friend said the images were sent to the 16-year-old involved in the incident.

NRL chief executive Todd Greenberg says they are facing "significant sanctions" for alleged breaches of the competition's code of conduct. The NRL's integrity unit is aware of the Snapchat images.

Both the girls who returned to the Bulldogs hotel were above the age of consent and there is no criminal investigation.

The sex scandal comes as the Bulldogs prepare to play Parramatta in the season-opening game on Thursday night.

Both girls involved and both players have since deleted their Instagram accounts since news broke of the incident.

Both the girls who attended the Bulldogs hotel were above the age of consent and there is no criminal investigation. While the players did not break the law, they did break the club's policy which states women aren't to be brought back to the hotel.

The girls had told the players they were 18.

The Snapchat exchange follows an Instagram conversation between Okunbor and one of the girls on the winger's now-deleted account, which were obtained by the Herald on Wednesday.

Canterbury chair Lynne Anderson said on Wednesday the Bulldogs were "owning" the Port Macquarie sex scandal.

The exchange begins with her asking Okunbor "Having a good stalk?", to which Okunbor replies "Yeah had to have a good look, what are we doing tonight?".

The girl then replies "You" with a winking emoji before Okunbor asks: "we're (sic) you at the school today".

Both girls have also deleted their Instagram accounts.

Canterbury chair Lynne Anderson said the Bulldogs were "owning" the Port Macquarie sex scandal as a club as more revelations emerged about the pre-season affair that has left Okunbor and Harawira-Naera facing the sack.

The scandal has cost the club a $2 million major sponsorship deal with family restaurant chain Rashays.

Parents of both girls have been contacted by the Herald and did not wish to make any statement.

So the “it’s all legal” facade for Cocknbur is now finished. He’ll likely be a registered sex offender and charged. Hope it was worth it.

What a fuckwit, kick the POS out of the league now.

Is there a dick pick I missed? Or something else aside from the all too common nowadays sexting.
There's plenty of picks of shirtless NRL players, every recovery session at the beach for a start.

Go Dogs
Missed the part where he asked an underaged girl for explicit pics? = sacked

I think what's changed is that everybody wants to look like the hero, but in reality humans have gotten worse, I mean you only need to turn on prime time TV to see endless amounts of smut and filth, and then there is the shenanigans that teenagers of all ages get up to on platforms like Snapchat and Tik Tok
Possibly. But look at the population boom over the past century, and the massive disparity that has come along with it. What would you otherwise expect??

Yes, the two apparently grown men should have known better and should not even have contemplated what they did. Trips away in the future will be pretty crowded events; playing squad, one minder for each of them. Ultiomately though personal responsibilty is obviously lacking in a lot of footy players because they keep shooting themselves, the club and the game in the foot over and over.

I have been disappointed and ashamed of past actions at the club but this one takes the cake. This one will stick for a long time to come and once again give others the ammunition to make their snide little remarks and put the boot it. The actions of two individuals and the subsequent actions of others involved in it have created another poor talking point. Say what you will, and we all have, that nothing illegal happened as it was consensual and they were of age, but how can people still think they can do this stuff without consequences ...... I am not talking just from the breaking of codes of conduct I am talking about them not understanding that with social media and the actions of some in releasing vision, comments etc that this would not end well?? We can also look at the other side of the coin, and I am sure some have, that these girls would share with their friends the events of the evening and it would be there for all to see. Lessons have not been learned by these guys as we have seen the Burgess sexting, the Napa incident, Tyrone May...the list goes on.

The club acted swiftly and decisively to their credit and if you saw the accompanying picture to the article from the press release the look on Andrew Hills face just about said it all. Don't know where to go to from here, maybe Gus can help but .....
