Will never capitalise on any breaks made. It's pretty simple to identify this yet the coach has failed to identify this in a season and a bit. Game after game I see us hitting it up with no support .
Our back line also plays with no depth what so ever. Gives our speedsters no room to use their pace. Our centres dig the get the ball are usually on the advantage line.
Team selection and use of the interchange also shows Barret has no idea. Continual non selection of our only half back and not playing a specialist Hooker shows he has no idea.

Players couldn’t have tried harder today. It’s not through a lack of effort. We were just totally outclassed with Melbourne executing at a much quicker speed then we do. How do you fix it? There’s no quick fix. We need cohesion but some quality playmakers who can move the ball quickly to challenge a defence. A crafty 9 and 7 who can direct the attack and create space out wide. The positive is we have Mahoney coming. He’s a clever player who has a quick and accurate pass on him. We need to find or manufacture a halfback who can read the play and out smart a defence and throw quick accurate passes. Burtons got a running game and can pass. Why is he parked on the left in good ball. He should be playing both sides he is not a centre anymore. I can’t fault our forward pack I think they’ve laid a good enough platform.
