Is there something wrong with men who drive hatchbacks?

I think the proper order of cars is

V8s > turbo 6s > turbo 4s > sedans > hatchbacks > Chinese cars > EVs.

when I refer to turbo cars I mean proper turbo cars not the shit little engines plus turbo… the engine should be good enough without turbo… turbo just adds more..

The order now with the cost of living crisis is: 3cyl, 4cyl, EV > turbo, V6, V8

Running a sporty turbo, V6 or V8 car is a lot to ask in this cost of living crisis. Insurance is extremely expensive and every time you go fill up you empty your wallet.

I’ve owned every import under the sun from gtr to supra and everything in between ( wrx, 200sx) but now drive SUV

JDM cars are so cool. Some wicked cars have come out of Japan

doesn’t make em better.. cheaper to run is not better.. its more associated to boring

No. I’d love to have my sss gti back. Got one from trading post 79,000 kms off an old lady my old boy found it as my first car cheap as . Dad said when he picked it up it was really quick he didn’t think being a 4cyl that it would fly, could beat anyone on my ps. They are hard to find now !
You talking about the GTI-R?

if that were true would we all drive the cheapest car you can get? Some people won’t drive anything that’s not German? Others Italian.. then there are blokes who drive hatchbacks.. another type of person altogether
Then you have me - I won't buy anything that's not a...

Bro on our honeymoon we thrashed that thing all over North Queensland, then drove is down to Airlie Beach. Not one problem and was so fuel efficient.

Are you talking about the Corolla/Yaris Cross Hybrid? It depends what you're after. It depends what you're after because they're more expensive that their regular counterparts. But for ease of driving I'd buy that hatch in a heartbeat simply for how great it was to drive.

I like how the KW went up each time

I was going to buy one but 3cyl? Sort of put me off
Yeah 3 cylinders but technology has come a long way, the Yaris has the same 3 cylinders and people have got them running 9s.

of course if you make an engine strong enough and put a turbo big enough it go fast but what about normal driving off boost etc.. it would lack torque?

I’d always rather a bigger displacement engine that is ok off boost and the turbo gives it all the zing.. for example a wrx with 2.4 engine and 12-14psi boost or a Yaris with a lil 1.6 and 22psi boost..

but the big advantage for Yaris is it’s a Toyota, they rarely make anything bad… Subaru has a shocking reputation

I didn't even know there was one available. What car is it sir?

Tesla Model S, all of them are hatchbacks. 5M long one albeit, but still.
