Is there something wrong with men who drive hatchbacks?

a few concerns to unpack here

1. Does it look funny for a big
Man to step out of a little hatchback car? No presence? Sort of looks cheap. Clown car?

2. Does it send off a strong message they are economical people? Looking to pinch a bit from here and there

3. When they turn up to an event hotel etc and everyone gets out of their big cars and they park their tin can.. do people shake their head?

4. Is EV cars sort of replacing the hatchback to assume these issues if you drove them? People heckle and scoff if they see one?

does it really matter on what vehicle a person drives?
as long it does its job and gets you from point A to point B

if that were true would we all drive the cheapest car you can get? Some people won’t drive anything that’s not German? Others Italian.. then there are blokes who drive hatchbacks.. another type of person altogether

Are hatchbacks better than EVs?

3. 1988 flat back twin cam 150kw super charged
4. 1988 flat back twin cam turbo 180kw
5.1991 hatch back Gti 20valve turbo 220kw

seems like a pattern of hatchbacks for you? So no sedans or bigger cars in between?

I’ve owned hatchbacks, SUB, sedans. Coupes… the trick to owning a hatchback is you gotta own two cars.. your other car needs to be something with some muscle

earlier this year I owned a Mazda 3 hatchback with the 2.5 engine.. someone at work saw it and said I saw your microcar outside.. truth be told the engine in my Mazda had more power and torque than her car which appeared bigger as a suv Mitsubishi

but ultimately someone rear ended it, I sold it and bought a sedan.. more road presence , sedans have more class.. sometimes hatchbacks can look like you bought half a car

I too loved my Toyota hatchback twin cams growing up. I had the 1986 red flat back twin cam 86kw then upgraded to the 1991 hatchback SX 100kw with computer chip.

VTECH just kicked in yo!

Hatchbacks are practical for city life. Easy to park, good on fuel, nimble on the back streets.

I think the proper order of cars is

V8s > turbo 6s > turbo 4s > sedans > hatchbacks > Chinese cars > EVs.

when I refer to turbo cars I mean proper turbo cars not the shit little engines plus turbo… the engine should be good enough without turbo… turbo just adds more..

I know a guy back in the day who bought a near new Calais.. he used to throw his weight around and told everyone how good it was to drive.. then maybe 6 months to a year later he could t afford the payments, had to sell it and was driving around in a mini… the old ones too.. everyone sneered at him and jeered, giggled and poked fun

he was a good 6 foot 6 tall.. clown
