Hell no. He still gets dominated on kick returns, is out of position a lot and has no step or fend so he is easily rounded up a lot even when he has enough space off a backline shift.

He backed up Cogger well today for that try but he's not a long term fullback. Not if we ever want to make the finals again..

No, he's not a first grade fullback

Have a listen to your scathing appraisal. He was fantastic today.

Until a better one turns up, keep him going. If this time next season he has improved as much as he has now compared to when he played FB last season, he will be a solid first grader. If he improved further he could be our long term FB. He needs to keep improving though.

That is also contingent on getting a top class #9 or #7. We need better class somewhere in the spine, but no team has 4 world beaters in their spine.

He’s certainly mounting a case. Wouldn’t dismiss him.

He’s looking more and more dangerous each week. Chiming in around the ruck and gaining valuable yardage. Solid under the high pill. Great speed. Plenty to like about his work.

No way, hes not top class, dropped the ball with a minute to go when all he had to do was hold on and give us a shot at a field goal, hes fast but lacks a passing game and hes not great in defence, he ll do a job for now but if we want to actually progress we need better.

Man, if you could sacrifice some of his top speed for bursts of acceleration off the mark. Takes too long to wind up in open holes.

Backup #1. Avo should be given a shot as I think he has a lot more potential at FB.

Be interesting to see if Albert Hopoate gets a run in FG this year as he has been loaned to the Warrirors for the next month. Obviosuly he wont play FB with RTS there but he might get a run on the wing. It'll be good to see him in FG
