Pilot steamer, Captain Cook, Sydney - 1895

There was still a Captain Cook pilot vessel in the 1950s. It operated out from Watsons Bay. As I recall, it didn't look like this, but had a similarly rakish hull. May have been the same vessel, with a modified superstructure.

General Gordon was the transfer ferry between the Sydney and Great Northern Railways, until the Hawkesbury River bridge was built.
