I remember when I could be proud of the team and the jumper they play in.

I remember when we would attack in defence and hit like we wanted to see pain in the faces of our opponents.

I remember the times that when our backs were against the wall. the Bulldog spirit would appear.

I remember when we had confidence as fans that we'd be entertaining to watch. Win, lose or draw.

I remember Des Hasler fuming in the coaches box because he cared,
When he coached Manly.

I remember Dymock and Lamb being legends of this Club and understanding what we do.

and I remember when the fans started calling for a change.

I love the Dogs as much as u all do and I will support the players.. At the end of the day these are talented guys. Once they're shown the light they can win a comp. But I've been so patient for it seems like so long that after our last effort, something needs to change imo.
Hasler has a good record and shown longevity in a tough environment. I just don't think he's for us.

I miss when:

- Players had pride in the jersey
- We had a genuine half back
- We had a great roster and it reflected on the table
- Fans didn't accept mediocrity
- Laziness from players wasn't acceptable
- We used to live up to our potential

Brett Kimmorley would look at the fans and clap as he went in the tunnel.
And just think if Chris Anderson never went to coach the storm Brett Kimmorley would of become a bulldog in the late 90's and we would never of had Ricky Stuart at the club!

What about the last time Robbie O'Davis played for the Knights against the Bulldogs?
He wanted another contract with the Knights but after that game he was offered 15k!
It was pretty much a nice way of Newcastle telling Robbie O that he was no longer needed at the club.
Lol he can thank Mark O'Meley for that one!

I miss
- when everyone feared us
- when everyone tried to emulate us ( by poaching our players)
- our junior production line ( Mason , SBW , Sherwin etc etc)
- our winners mentality.
