Its come back to bite us, but getting rid of John Asiata was a massive mistake.

He is a very very skilful ball playing lock, far far superior to Jacko.

He would have solved so many of our issues on offense.

He would have filled that role superbly.

Jacko could have focused on carting it up the middle and his defense which is very very strong still.

We need to change the way we play (which Baz won't do, half the reason why he has to go, need to play to players strengths). We shouldn't be primarily using our lock to ball play. The Storm and Sharks use their 1,6 or 7 as 1st receiver depending on what they're doing. Asiata is also massively overrated. Cowboys and Broncos reject.

They tried to coerce him into taking something he didn't want in his body... so yeah they got rid of him. He would have been eligible to play interstate based on current rules which means all the Vax
