1972…born in Bankstown hospital and indoctrinated as a fan by the old man. I didn’t have a choice
I was born there too but it was my mum and brother who didn't give me a choice. She was born in Canterbury in 1928 and her dad used to take her to Berries games from 1935.

off and on for 42 years. every time they lose any game i have a tantrum, kick my cat, punch 2 holes in a wall in the house and the cry on the kennel forum. i hated this team on the weekend because they lost. was never going to watch the football again. but today is Monday, i have other things on my mind and am back in love with the bulldogs, if they win this weekend its because they nrl has decided to rig the draw in our favour because they don't want qld teams winning and we will also make the grand final. if we lose, i will stop following the team until at least sunday night. hopefully i will continue being a bulldogs supporter for at least another 10 days. lets go dogs!!!!

1975 I was 6 and my best mate at the time gave me a pair of dogs shorts and the rest is history.
Still have them somewhere poor bloke ended up murdered by his own brother years later.
Because of the shorts?? Dam

Early 1960's, I can't remember the exact year or game. We lived in the Bankstown area and it seemed like every kid at school went for St George, who were going through their golden run, and this helped to influence me to support the Berries.

Let’s see…. I started supporting the dogs when I was about 7, but then defected to support the broncos for 8 years, Parra for 7 years and the South Queensland Crushers for one year…. So all in all, about 19 years

As a youngster I grew up in campsie and the first game I remember watching was the 1979 grand final loss to dragons. I was complaining about the ref and I cried at the end. No kennel forum to vent on in those days. Hooked since.

1975. I remember watching the Rorters flog Changers Dragons 38-0 on our BW telly and wishing it was Canterbury playing. Lived in Bankstown at the time, seemed like a good idea.

I've been a fan since 1975, and never wavered from supporting the mighty Bulldogs. I will be a fan to the day I die!
