Against the Raiders, this bloke had me saying "hell yeah!!!" all game long :D

I haven't seen a kicking game from 1 of our halves this good since Shifty's hot form of 2004!!!

Holdsworth had that ball on a string (after it left his boot, of course!) :D

Great grubbers, pressuring bombs, nice chips-over-the-top...

man i can't wait till he develops into even more of a complete footballer, and adds a good running game, where he takes the line on a lot more... and also baffles the defence with some crazy long cut-out passes, and more flick or inside passes!!!

Imagine the potential this kid still has in him!

Daniel Holdsworth = Buy Of The Season... NO DOUBT!!! :D

It took him a while to settle in but it seems like he can fit in now

Faultless. Eliminated Chifoffoffski out of the game by kicking to the sideline and open soce the whole time.

it was great the Bulldogs won but it was against the Raiders

they are lucky the Raiders didnt turn up to play football

Holdsworth played well but he needs to take the line on a bit to create some variety in his game

he played really well, i think he needed a game like this where he was the main man. in the other games this year he had been taking a back seat to sherwin but today...he was outstanding!

I told danzz before the game started that Holdsworth has a good kicking game 50m out as he rolls the ball away from the fullback unlike anasta who used to just deliver it down the fullbacks throat.

ok time to come back to reality

its good to see the Dogs win but IT WAS ONLY CANBERRA
it wasnt like it was a top 8 side

once Holdsworth steps up to the likes of Cowboys,Broncos and Roosters then I will sing his praises

how would you know???

if you actually saw the roosters play this week, you would've seen them nearly get run over by the sharks. they were lucky to come out 4 point winners!

as for brisbane... well they aren't that good a side.
just coz they beat souths 30-12 isn't enough to say they're better than us!

i agree it was only against canberra, but the dogs did do what was asked of them in the end, and played good basic football

penrith are good quality this year, but they failed the mission against the green, so did manly

we shouldnt take the win as a sign of premiershipness
but we can put a tick on the bulldogs report card, do it again next week with more of the same and then see what we do when we step up a class

all up im feeling comfortable in the bulldogs position right now because our loss against the knights doesnt look as bad now as we saw what they did to the dragons

but we werent playing the roosters or broncs, we knew we were playing the raiders so we prepared with a simple gameplan

im sure against the big sides we can come up with more set plays and 2nd phase and all those good things
