Hopoate our Weak Link

in my opinion Hopoate is our weak link. I know it was only a trial but he ran up and missed a few tackles. Let's hope I'm wrong but we will find out.

Honestly, I would say after Frawley there isn't someone else that Id rather have Hopoate over. I think he lacks anything special, he isn't that fast, doesn't really have a step, doesn't have any ball playing ability. Either at fullback or centre, he lacks anything special about him.

Going to reserve my judgement on Hoppa. If Shirvo has boosted his acceleration and speed he could be in for a solid season.
I will say though going forward he does seem likely to be hanging around, can see us signing one up and coming centre but not two.

Hoppa made the last pass for many tries at the back end of last year. He is not a "ball player" per say, but he can certainly set up his outside man pretty well, which is what i expect him to do.
Im expecting montoya to flourish outside of him.
