Left field idea

Jackson to right edge

Homer Stimson to 13….if he was good enough to play a few games for the Storm at 6 then surely has a better passing game and vision than Jacko

That’s predicated on he fact Baz remains stubborn and doesn’t change our attack structure

Holy our defense that is already ranked 2nd in the nrl would be so much better with stimson and waddell as our edges. Just no spark in attack whatsoever…. but defense will be great out there.

Canterbury forward Jack Hetherington will miss the remainder of the season after scans revealed he would need surgery on the shoulder he injured against Manly on Sunday night,

Bulldogs head of football Phil Gould confirmed the diagnosis on social media on Monday, revealing Hetherington had suffered a bony bankart fracture of the glenoid in his shoulder.

In layman’s terms, it means Hetherington not only tore the labrum cartilage but also some of the bone. The injury can take up to 12 months to heal

Not a good injury, and a long term one.

I wonder if we could play Okunbor in the second row perhaps?

Jackson Topine played Flegg (yes FLEGG) on the weekend but is also an option.
Topine has played Flegg the last couple of weeks.

Give Okunbor a go as his replacement on an edge. He can come on off the bench after 20. I think he could be a real weapon and less decision making defensively.

This will free up a top 30 spot.

Not sure at what point we are allowed to bring players from outside the top 30?

We don’t have fit edge backrowers in the top 30. The fascination saying TPJ is a edge player will bite us with this one.

I would love to see them blood one or two of the cup backrowers.

U see his hit on the weekend? Was a beauty
We should have kept him when he was here last year - showed more heart and (ginger) balls than the pea-hearts (with no balls) playing in our First Grade team last year.
