It’s called getting your body ready for the season.
Full contact trails is different than training.

I wouldn't worry about some responses.
People get disappointed and jump on here to vent.
As fans we ALWAYS want to win.
We didn't so fans turn inward to analyse and talk (and argue) with fellow Bulldogs fans.

Some just simply lose the plot and some stir the pot \_(ツ)_/¯

We all know we didn't compete sufficiently well enough, in one game, in a pre-season comp, and we will need to improve on that.

How fans react and whether they go overboard with negativity is on them.

Yeah im back to normal now. Performance was not what i expected. It looks like we are going to have to rely on grit and desire again. Tracey had an off day, which i hope he recovers from because we dont have an alternative. Burtons defence is still poor. iMO, Montoya doesnt make enough metres to compensate for the areas he lacks as a winger. End of the day all the matters is that we get 2 points next week

A win doesn't change much for me unless we actually change how we win which unfortunately doesn't look like happening
 
Has to be noted, the Donkeys are a stacked gun team. They're definitely a Top 4 team and ran a pretty much full-strength team out that dominated us. You look through their team list and reminds me of the early days of them with the Origin team. I think losing yesterday is a good thing in that it's a reality check for us in what's needed (like last year) in order to compete above our station. A loss/reminder before it matters is better than RD1 or something.
