First of all, this is a rumors thread, why shit on people for posting a rumor?
Best to take everything on here with a grain of salt.

as for the rumor in question, if Haas comes to the dogs it’ll be because of TPJ, not in place of him.
LOL

“I will be joining x club so that I can play with TPJ”
- said no player ever.

Bronco have Haas, Flegler and Carrigan all on good money. We can go cheaper at lock. Also TPJ would be extended for less than what he's currently on (~750k currently, Bronco chipping in with the reported ~925k).
whats the bet the dolphins maje a strong bid for TPJ...wouldnt be suprised if he ended up at there as Bennett rates him very highly

Sound like typical management 101 tactics … leveraging rumours & other clubs to get the most out of their players current club that they can ..

Just the latest saga that the media will milk for months & months till it’s announced he’s staying with the Broncos …

Poor bastard will do anything to get away from TPJ. lol

NSW enforcer Payne Haas has injured his foot at training

Does Freddie expect people to believe this shit.
It's probably true because it's a bit of a nothing injury. I feel like, if you're trying to convince QLD that Haas is in doubt, you'd give him more than a sprained ankle. We'd just strap him up, warm him up and let him play on it. No way Slater believes that's keeping him out of Game 1.

On the other hand, I've not come to expect rational thinking from Freddy. :P

Wow. That much
Probably $400,000 for 2 years.

Sounds about right for a player the calibre of Haas - like all players who allegedly sign with Rorters for ridiculously low amounts they do it for love of the club and the chance to win a premiership.

Oh then of course uncle Nick tops the sum up unofficially

Haas came out today saying he values Premierships over money, so no doubt he'll be signing on at the Roosters now for $400K.
So did the "block of cheese" and how has that worked out so far....
Rorters aren't what they use to be...if he wants a premiership....Pansters, Wabbits or Storm

JWH will move on after 2024 and they'll also release Lodge by then. In their calculations they have plenty of money for Haas. They can even get him for probably 800K on their books while anyone else would be officially paying 1.2M.

F..ken hate the Roosters

Absolutely - so many reasons to hate the Rorters.

One of their favourite tricks is to say they signed this or that player on some ridiculously low amount.

Then when that player retires, they suddenly have a huge spare amount of $$ to spend under the cap - way more than they allegedly payed that player in the first place.

They aren't called the Rorters for nothing!
