He either played for us or say ok the sideline unpaid. There’s no pissing salary cap away because at the end of the day you say he has a contract and we want him to play but if he doesn’t then we simply won’t just allow him to go and join a rival. Players and their managers know they hold the power the only solution is to release him. The Storm situation with Fox doesn’t have anywhere near as much heat in it.

Anyone thinking the Dogs making a stand and not releasing CHN will stop this type of thing happening in the future are kidding themselves. The only these types of things get fixed is if the NRL bring in stricter guidelines around contracts and player movement.

If we kept CHN and sat him in the grandstand all it does it create a massive distraction and pisses cap money down the toilet. There’s absolutely nothing to gain from it.

If NRL HQ had any intelligence they would take penalties for player misbehaviour out of the club's responsibilities, develop some rules so there is consistency and handle it themselves. This is a huge cross against them. We lose arguably one of our top 3 players and get absolutely nothing out of it from a top 8 team? Fuck it any team would of done something better than that.

I get that fans want an exchange for CHN. Very hard to find a comparable participant at the moment wishing to come to a club that's dead last. And it will cost us I believe on top if we find him.
Better a clean slate and search for the exact player we need.

NRL has not clue at all. It doesn't matter how much time and money you spend teaching these guys there will always be idiots in the NRL that bash or molest women, smash some guy at a bar, do the nasty with schoolgirls etc (Barba, Bird, Pearce,.....). What's the point of the NRL "integrity unit" if they just dump the responsibilities of issuing penalties on the clubs where there is bound to be inconsistencies?

Totally agree some clubs get to investigate themselves and hand down their own punishments while others get done by the NRL. It’s typically of them though to make something that should be simple so complicated.

Expected it from the past couple weeks reports. Was anticipating it. Though was holding hope our club wouldn’t bend over spread our ass and hand it over all for nothing. We are dead last yes. We need as much as we can get right now.

The whole players won’t come here is rubbish. Lafai and cotric signed same week... it’s about $ and chance. Someone would take chn for a trade for sure.

Just thought we could aim for more than nothing like klemmer or some tickets like Hannant ffs.

We want a successful club and it won’t happen in this manner and certainly not with a board who sit and watch. Fuck you Lynne and fuck you Andrew.

Fox was/is professional enough to put his all in for the team. CHN clearly isn't. CHN has clearly said "FUCK YOU Bulldogs" making it impossible to keep him.
