His decision is for 2025 unless Rabbit release him beforehand which is very unlikely. Also clubs mentioned in the media so far are Raider and Dragon. We haven't been mentioned yet.
One advantage we have is he grew up a Dogs supporter. Josh Reynolds was his favourite players. We should get JR to have a talk to him and show him around

I feel if he was going to stay at South's he would have resigned already. Looks like he is going somewhere, hopefully here. I think the fact we haven't been mentioned is a good thing. Our club seem to have locked up the leaks pretty well except when we want to release something via Wielder.

i genuinely hope we do what parramatta did and announce three signings in one day rather than one a week

The fact we haven’t been mentioned is a good thing, also it is possible his decision is 2024 as who know what cap pressure Souths are in trying to fit Wighton in ..

I’d argue Dogs are the most cashed up club in the league right now, and with not much on the market I can see Gould happily paying this bloke sensible overs to get him, also theres Laundy backing … plus isn’t he supposedly a huge Dogs fan ?

Him along with Critta would be huge additions ..

lol coming from the guy who claim critter aint here for the $$$$$
Every players playing for the money Fizbo .. if it wasn’t for the money they wouldn’t walk out onto the field and bash their body’s around every week ..

But for many it’s not only about the money, many have other goals ambitions and motivation that go along with the money ..

Might be family, wealth creation, philanthropy, travel, a lasting legacy in the game, could be a dozen different goals.

Crichton’s only 22, he could be in the game another 12 or so years, if it’s just about money he’s going to have a boring career.

He’s an athlete and a competitor yes the money’s important but he’d also have a good 3 or 4 career goals in mind that go along with the cash, that’s also what he brings to our club !

Again, tunnel vision, small picture fam.

A few months ago I posted that Keaon was looking for a big pay rise after making Origin and Souths would struggle to match what he's after. It looks like that's what is happening now.

Hopefully the rumours of Saints and Canberra are a smokescreen and Gus is making him a priority. Kolo could move to prop or lock or Preston could move to lock..

Yep - Knight, King, Patolo is still light in the middle, but will be enough with Kikau, Preston on edges and I would play Keon at 13 to unlock his excellent ball playing.

Keon descended to shit the backend of the last season errors and a look of disinterest. Wouldn’t be suprised to see him move clubs as long as someone can outbid bid South’s his likely gone. Think Gus can snap him up if he wants, we have the money and a slightly more attractive appearance now days.

I got 24 players signed including Xerri, Crichton, Salmon and Taaffe and the confirmed players leaving in Pele, Pangai Junior and all the off contract players apart from Hughes and Patolo who were re-signed.
Add Mann, Hutchinson and Taukeiaho and most likely promotions for Wilson, Morrin and Edwards. That makes 30. Can see at least 3 more players confirmed gone such as RFM, Topine and Hoffman.
I think Pele has been signed to Super League. Also read we may have signed Jake Turpin which seems strange if we already have Salmon, Mann and Hutchinson who can all play hooker.

NRL.com has us with 23 players including Taaffe, Xerri, Crichton and Samon. That leaves 7 players to fill the spots. If we add Hutchinson, Mann and Taukeiaho and I also think Poasa Faamausili that leaves 3 spots left. Topine is already signed for 2024 and I also read that Mariner has also been given permission to leave if he wants but I am not sure this is true.

Alex Twal may also be a possible signing after being spotted having coffee with Ciraldo. A swap between Sea Eagles Keppie and Twal was reported but Keppie may be going to Souths. Maybe we can do a swap with Mariner.

But 2 or 3 spots is not many to fill especially if we are to promote any lower grade players like Isaac Matalavea-Booth and considering players like Burns and Hughes unsigned who have not done too much wrong and especially if we want to leave 1 or 2 spots open for later signings.

The Mole has said that Jake Turpin has been signed for next year too, although no one seems to mention him when talking about incoming players. Still happening??
Yeah its also reported on Zero tackle. If thats the case I think its a pretty good signing. Its been a long time since we have had 2 specialist hookers. Turpin is strong in defence so that should tighten up our poor defence.

Faamausili signing hasn’t been confirmed from any journos nor the club or any media outlets. Could easily be a mistake in the article from the duds at Fox League. This is insane copium lol but lets just hope I’m right :sob: :sob:
OK yeah the crazy player transfer rumour mill. I just wish they would hurry up and announce the signings to put us out of our misery.
