In the next thread we'll have the choir banging on about buzz this, the telecrap that, Murdoch, Murdoch, Murdoch...

...while in this thread we can continue to watch them played like a harp by the very fuckers they claim to despise, all while engaging in the very same (mis-) behaviour.

Now, what is it, precisely, we are claiming he has done that can be confirmed and backed by actual evidence? Not speculation, conflation, and wishful fantasy?

The guy was a good up and comer junior for us so I'm holding full judgement till something more concrete comes out from Gus I guess.

Common law damages loss of income potential/future earning capacity as very unlikely he will ever earn another nrl contract.
Would be interesting to see how he tries to prove his employer was being negligent.

Under QLD legislation you need to prove three things for a common law claim…

- A duty of care must have been owed to the victim.
- The duty of care must have been breached.
- The breach of the duty must have resulted in some damage or injury to the victim.

Not sure if NRL clubs fall under their state based legislation or under Comcare / Self-insurance etc.

Throw $$$$$ at Hunt. A contract means nothing. If you look hard enough, you’ll find soneone. Should have gone all out for Luke Brooks. Canterbury have the worst halves in the NRL.
Precisely, the world is broad and wide so have a fucking crack.

When Gould summoned the press to make a statement of course he said there's "no talent to sign anywhere in the world right now"

Supporters love that shit for some reason and they just applaud his times are going to be hard for years to come policy.

I just cannot work out the loyal Bulldog player we thought he was, with these apparently new revelations. Just doesn't make sense.
You can definitely want things and lack discipline to achieve them.

Well this might explain why he’s always had trouble breaking into the 17. Also surprising cause he seemed to be a big culture guy always leading the team song and stuff

Gus could tell them that Munster wants to come here for 400K under his market value but they turned him down as he wouldnt fit the system the coach has implemented and they would suck old GUS off deluxe.

Could claim duty of care was breached by exposing him to the group wrestle particularly if he had previously flagged underlying mental health concerns and the wrestle had caused him further mental trauma/duress.

Until the last few months really loved Topine, always gave 100% on the field. Struggled a bit in grade, but not necessarily his fault, got played everywhere except his bad position. If it is him hopefully there is a way forward where after sometime off can come back. Seems doubtful though seems things have gone to far and if all of this caused the NRL and Cup teams to fall off a cliff, that will make it even harder to come back from. Just really sad. Still hoping its not him and was Nu Brown or someone else.
